SR. SURFACE WATER DRAINAGE ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and analyze surface water drainage systems to ensure efficient stormwater management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative drainage solutions for various projects.
• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modeling to assess drainage impacts and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, design calculations, and documentation for project submissions.
• Review and provide feedback on design drawings and specifications related to drainage systems.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to address project requirements and concerns.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to surface water management.

Key Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in surface water drainage engineering, preferably in the Middle East.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) license preferred.
• Proficient in StormCAD, Civil 3D, InfoWorks, and other relevant engineering software.
• Strong understanding of local drainage design standards and regulations in the Middle East.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
