Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage BIM strategies across multiple architectural projects.
- Set up and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices to ensure high-quality, efficient project delivery.
- Lead the development and management of BIM models through all phases of design, construction, and project handover.
- Oversee the integration of BIM with other disciplines (MEP, structural, etc.), ensuring coordination and data exchange across the team.
- Lead BIM execution plans, manage model workflows, and resolve BIM-related issues.
- Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure BIM processes align with project goals and timelines.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all BIM-related inquiries and issues on projects.
- Conduct regular BIM reviews and audits to ensure model accuracy and compliance with design and contractual requirements.
- Lead and mentor the BIM team, providing guidance on software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance BIM knowledge across the team.
- Ensure that team members have access to necessary resources and stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and tools.
- Ensure the integrity and consistency of the BIM models by conducting quality control checks and resolving discrepancies.
- Proactively identify potential risks related to BIM execution and propose solutions to mitigate these risks.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure BIM models meet project specifications and expectations
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and senior management, providing updates on project BIM status
Key Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in architectural BIM management or a similar role within an architecture or construction firm.
- Strong experience in managing BIM workflows across various stages of project delivery (design, construction, operation).
- Prior experience working in the Middle East market is highly preferred, with an understanding of regional construction practices, building codes, and local regulations.
- Expertise in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and other BIM-related software.
- Strong knowledge of BIM protocols, standards, and data management systems.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and rendering tools.
- Familiarity with advanced BIM concepts, including clash detection, BIM coordination, and 4D/5D modeling.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, and contractors. Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) are a plus.
- Experience managing BIM for large-scale, complex projects in the Middle East (e.g., high-rise buildings, mixed-use developments, infrastructure).
- In-depth knowledge of regional building codes and standards in the Middle East.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget.
