MEP ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced MEP Design Engineers (HVAC, PH, Electrical, ELV) to join our team. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design MEP systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, ELV) for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
• Perform system calculations, create load analyses, and prepare detailed designs and specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into overall building designs.
• Prepare technical drawings, diagrams, and documentation for MEP systems, using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
• Review and evaluate the performance of existing systems to recommend improvements or modifications where necessary.
• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety standards, and sustainability guidelines.
• Provide technical support during project implementation, including liaising with contractors and monitoring progress.
• Participate in project meetings, providing updates on MEP design, scheduling, and cost control.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and tenders, including budget estimates and project timelines.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP design, with a strong background in HVAC or Plumbing or Electrical, or ELV systems.
• Previous experience working in a design consultancy or similar environment is a must.
• Proficiency in MEP design software (AutoCAD, Revit, and other related tools).
• Solid understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations relevant to MEP design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to provide innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal). Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
