STRUCTURE ENGINEER

As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing shop drawings and related submissions, supporting the procurement team with civil-related packages, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and following up on structural-related submissions. This role ensures that all structural elements meet design criteria and project requirements while facilitating effective collaboration across various engineering disciplines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review shop drawings and all related submissions with reference to project design criteria, general notes, and details.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications and industry standards. 
• Assist the procurement team in preparing civil-related package documentation.
• Provide technical input and ensure that procurement packages meet project requirements. 
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineers to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among different engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project execution. 
• Monitor and follow up on structural-related submissions, including shop drawings, material submissions, and reports.
• Ensure timely review, approval, and processing of submissions, addressing any comments or revisions as needed.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of structural design principles, codes, and standards.
• Proficiency in reviewing technical drawings and documentation.
• Experience with procurement processes and documentation preparation.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
