CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - OIL AND GAS

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

As a Civil/Structural Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of civil and structural components integral to upstream oil & gas facilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop detailed designs for civil and structural components, including foundations, platforms, pipelines, and retaining structures
• Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Provide input during the conceptual, feasibility, and detailed engineering phases of projects
• Apply knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and best practices in civil and structural engineering to ensure the integrity, safety, and reliability of oil & gas facilities
• Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into project designs
• Provide technical support during the construction phase of projects, including reviewing contractor submissions, conducting site inspections, and resolving technical issues
• Identify potential risks related to civil and structural engineering aspects of projects and develop mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and other project deliverables in accordance with company standards and project requirements
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, changes, and approvals.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Candidates MUST be immediately available
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• 7 years of experience in civil and structural engineering within the oil & gas industry, with a focus on upstream projects.
• Experience in working with Engineering phase is mandatory
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, and/or similar programs.
