JOINERY MANAGER
About the job JOINERY MANAGER
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all phases of joinery and fit-out projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget goals are met.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, joinery shop drawings, and project plans.
- Coordinate with clients, designers, architects, and main contractors to ensure project specifications and expectations are fully aligned.
- Supervise and monitor the manufacturing and installation processes, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and adherence to project timelines.
- Manage production teams, subcontractors, and site execution teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure all health & safety, quality, and regulatory requirements are consistently met.
- Provide leadership, motivation, and direction to cross-functional project teams.
- Identify potential risks or delays and implement proactive solutions.
Key Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field, Degree of Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or any related field.
- Must have 10 years above experience from reputed firms in UAE/GCC.
- Must have worked on any hotel projects in the UAE/GCC.
- Strong understanding of bespoke joinery, cabinetry, and high-end interior fit-out works.
- Solid experience in production management and coordination with manufacturing units.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed architectural and joinery drawings.
- Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Knowledge of project management software is a plus.
- UAE experience is mandatory.
- Must be currently based in the UAE, and available immediately.
