DRAUGHTSMAN (MARINE EXPERIENCE)

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings for marine structures including jetties, precast elements, pontoons, quay walls, and steel platforms.
• Coordinate with engineering, site, and fabrication teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of drawings.
• Interpret marine project specifications, structural and architectural drawings.
• Modify drawings based on site conditions, RFIs, and client/consultant comments.
• Maintain drawing logs and proper documentation of drawing revisions.
• Conduct site visits and support the project team with dimensional verifications and design adaptations.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, specifications, and marine industry practices.
  

Key Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil/Structural Drafting or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in marine projects such as ports, harbors, jetties, and offshore/onshore marine infrastructure. 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) and other drafting software is a plus.
• Strong experience in precast concrete detailing, steelworks, and marine site installations.
• Familiarity with international and local marine construction standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must be locally available in the UAE and able to join immediately.
