PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and executing process engineering activities for projects across multiple sectors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and oversee process engineering solutions for projects in oil and gas, petrochemicals, energy, and utilities sectors.
  •  Conduct process simulations and modeling using software such as Aspen HYSYS, PRO II, or similar tools to analyze and optimize process systems.
  • Perform mass and energy balances, heat and material flow calculations, and sizing of equipment such as vessels, pumps, and heat exchangers.
  • Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and process control narratives to communicate process design concepts.
  • Participate in design reviews, hazard and operability studies (HAZOP), and safety integrity level (SIL) assessments to identify and mitigate process safety risks.
  • Provide technical leadership during the procurement, construction, and commissioning phases of projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess process performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and recommend improvements for optimization.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on process engineering principles and practices.

    KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in process engineering, with demonstrated leadership capabilities, preferably within the oil and gas, petrochemicals, or related industries.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS, PRO II, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of process design principles, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
  • Experience with process safety concepts and practices, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety instrumented systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex process issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
  •  Proven track record of delivering high-quality process engineering solutions within project timelines and budget constraints.
  •  Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
