WET UTILITIES ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop sewerage, stormwater, and TSE networks in compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
- Perform hydraulic and hydrological analysis using SewerGEMS and WaterGEMS software to optimize the design and performance of wet utility systems.
- Prepare detailed design documentation, including calculations, specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, planners, and environmental specialists, to integrate wet utility systems with overall project designs.
- Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies, and assessments to ensure the cost-effective and efficient delivery of wet utility projects.
- Participate in the preparation of tender documents, including scope of work, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other project team members.
- Attend client meetings and liaise with stakeholders to resolve design-related issues and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, software enhancements, and relevant regulations.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in the design and analysis of wet utilities (sewerage, stormwater, TSE networks).
- Proficiency in hydraulic modelling using SewerGEMS and WaterGEMS software.
- Strong knowledge of relevant standards, codes, and regulations related to sewerage and water networks.
- Experience in preparing detailed design documents, including calculations, drawings, and reports.
- Familiarity with Civil 3D or similar design software for drafting and creating design layouts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
