REINFORCEMENT DRAFTSMAN

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare detailed reinforcement drawings and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) based on structural design specifications.
• Develop and modify rebar detailing for various structural elements such as foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and walls.
• Ensure accurate reinforcement detailing in compliance with project requirements and local UAE standards.
• Coordinate with Structural Engineers, Site Teams, and Contractors to ensure the correct implementation of reinforcement works.
• Review and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and technical documents.
• Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and maintain documentation for rebar works.
• Identify and resolve any clashes or discrepancies in reinforcement detailing with the engineering team.
• Work closely with site teams to provide technical drafting support for on-site construction activities.
• Ensure that all drawings adhere to project specifications, safety standards, and authority regulations in the UAE.


KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the GCC, ideally with UAE contracting experience.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Rebar detailing, Reinforcement, and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and rebar detailing software such as RebarCAD or similar.
• Familiarity with UAE structural codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Must be locally available in the UAE and ready to join immediately.
