Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain hydraulic models using InfoWorks WS Pro to analyze pressurized pipe networks.
- Perform simulations to assess system performance under various scenarios and identify potential issues.
- Gather, organize, and validate data related to pipe networks, including flow rates, pressures, and material specifications.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of model data for effective analysis and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and optimization, recommending design changes as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement enhancements and validate their impact on system performance.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings, analyses, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Document methodologies and maintain records of model configurations and analysis outcomes
- Work closely with other engineers and project managers to integrate hydraulic modeling with overall project goals.
- Participate in project meetings, providing technical insights and updates on modeling progress
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hydraulic modeling, specifically with pressurized pipe networks.
- Proficiency in InfoWorks WS Pro software is essential.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic principles and water distribution systems.
- Experience with GIS software and data integration is a plus.
