HYDRAULIC MODELER

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain hydraulic models using InfoWorks WS Pro to analyze pressurized pipe networks.
• Perform simulations to assess system performance under various scenarios and identify potential issues.
• Gather, organize, and validate data related to pipe networks, including flow rates, pressures, and material specifications.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of model data for effective analysis and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and optimization, recommending design changes as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement enhancements and validate their impact on system performance.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings, analyses, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Document methodologies and maintain records of model configurations and analysis outcomes
• Work closely with other engineers and project managers to integrate hydraulic modeling with overall project goals.
• Participate in project meetings, providing technical insights and updates on modeling progress

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hydraulic modeling, specifically with pressurized pipe networks.
• Proficiency in InfoWorks WS Pro software is essential.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic principles and water distribution systems.
• Experience with GIS software and data integration is a plus.
