POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Change Management & CAB (Change Advisory Board) Owner to support a leading banking client in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be ITIL certified, bring deep expertise in change management processes, and possess a strong background in the banking sector. This role requires excellent leadership in managing complex change environments, ensuring compliance with IT governance standards, and overseeing the end to end lifecycle of IT changes within a highly regulated environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the primary owner of the Change Advisory Board (CAB), leading and facilitating regular CAB meetings.
  • Ensure all IT changes are assessed, approved, scheduled, implemented, and reviewed in alignment with ITIL best practices.
  • Drive end to end change management processes, ensuring risk mitigation, minimal business disruption, and adherence to regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Partner with stakeholders across business, IT, and operations to ensure smooth delivery of change initiatives in a banking environment.
  • Maintain strict governance and quality standards throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Oversee and enhance IT Quality Assurance practices, ensuring all changes and releases meet required compliance and security benchmarks.
  • Monitor, report, and continuously improve change management KPIs, SLAs, and audit controls.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on change related risks, impacts, and dependencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • ITIL Certified (Foundation or higher).
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in Change Management and as CAB Owner, ideally within banking or financial services in the GCC preferably Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and IT Quality Assurance processes.
  • Proven experience in a regulated financial environment, with familiarity in compliance and risk management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
