SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and approve electrical systems for projects, ensuring compliance with UAE standards and regulations.
• Supervise and coordinate electrical installations, power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Work closely with MEP, civil, and architectural teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and testing & commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure adherence to DEWA, ADDC, and other UAE authority requirements.
• Identify and resolve electrical design and execution challenges on-site.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and procurement of electrical materials.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
• Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and project updates to stakeholders.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Must have 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the contracting sector.
• Proven experience working in the UAE, with knowledge of local authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, and municipality requirements).
• Strong expertise in power distribution, lighting, ELV, and electrical safety standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Must be locally available in the UAE and ready to join immediately.
