TELECOM INSPECTOR

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecom Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of telecom systems in various projects, particularly focusing on pumping stations' control systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect and verify the installation, testing, and commissioning of telecom systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to telecom engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Review and assess telecom system designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor and report on the progress of telecom installation and maintenance activities.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, discrepancies, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team regarding telecom systems.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all inspection activities.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Telecom Engineering.
• Candidates MUST be immediately available
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in telecom inspection, with a strong background in pumping stations' control systems.
• Extensive knowledge of telecom systems, including installation, testing, and commissioning processes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in telecom engineering.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
