Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and coordinate structural BIM models in collaboration with engineers, architects, and other design professionals.
  • Ensure adherence to project BIM execution plans, industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650), and company BIM protocols.
  • Lead clash detection and resolution processes using tools like Navisworks 

  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure structural integrity and constructability within BIM environments.

  • Assist with the creation and management of Revit families, templates, and structural content libraries.

  • Review, audit, and validate incoming and outgoing models for quality and compliance.

  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary model integration, version control, and issue tracking.

  • Support project teams during all phases design, documentation, and construction.

  • Mentor and provide technical support and training to junior staff and BIM technicians.

  • Generate structural documentation, drawings, schedules, and reports from BIM models.

  • Participate in BIM coordination meetings and actively contribute to resolving design issues.

Key Qualifications 

  • Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

  • Minimum [8] years of experience working in a BIM-related role in structural engineering.

  • Proficiency in Revit (Structural), Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM-related software.

  • Experience with Clash Detection, BIM 360/ACC, and model collaboration workflows.

  • Knowledge of international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, PAS 1192).

  • Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with parametric modeling, Dynamo, or visual scripting.

  • Knowledge of cloud-based collaboration platforms (e.g., BIM 360, Revizto).

  • Certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, etc) will be a plus
