About the job STRUCTURAL BIM COORDINATOR
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and coordinate structural BIM models in collaboration with engineers, architects, and other design professionals.
- Ensure adherence to project BIM execution plans, industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650), and company BIM protocols.

Lead clash detection and resolution processes using tools like Navisworks

Collaborate with design teams to ensure structural integrity and constructability within BIM environments.

Assist with the creation and management of Revit families, templates, and structural content libraries.

Review, audit, and validate incoming and outgoing models for quality and compliance.

Coordinate multi-disciplinary model integration, version control, and issue tracking.

Support project teams during all phases design, documentation, and construction.

Mentor and provide technical support and training to junior staff and BIM technicians.

Generate structural documentation, drawings, schedules, and reports from BIM models.

Participate in BIM coordination meetings and actively contribute to resolving design issues.
Key Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

Minimum [8] years of experience working in a BIM-related role in structural engineering.

Proficiency in Revit (Structural), Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM-related software.

Experience with Clash Detection, BIM 360/ACC, and model collaboration workflows.

Knowledge of international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, PAS 1192).

Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction methodologies.

Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Experience with parametric modeling, Dynamo, or visual scripting.

Knowledge of cloud-based collaboration platforms (e.g., BIM 360, Revizto).

Certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, etc) will be a plus
