ELECTRICAL BIM MODELER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and manage detailed electrical BIM models using software like Revit and AutoCAD.
• Develop accurate 3D models for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, low-voltage, and ELV systems.
• Ensure all models comply with relevant design standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and structural engineers, to resolve design conflicts.
• Conduct clash detection using tools like Navisworks and resolve identified issues.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and contribute to achieving integrated project delivery goals.
• Produce detailed shop drawings, schematics, and layouts for electrical systems based on BIM models.
• Ensure proper documentation and updating of As-Built models as required.
• Adhere to local and international standards, such as DEWA, ADDC, and SEC requirements in the GCC.
• Maintain quality and accuracy in all BIM deliverables.
  

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in the UAE or other GCC countries.
• Prior experience with design consulting firms in the Middle East is a must.
• Proficiency in BIM tools, especially Revit and Navisworks.
• Solid understanding of electrical design principles and systems.
• Knowledge of local authority regulations and requirements in the GCC.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
