We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale Solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid engineering background, proven leadership skills, and a strong grasp of project management principles with hands-on experience in utility-scale solar projects. PMP certification is a significant advantage.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end execution of solar power projects (MW-scale), ensuring completion within defined timelines, budget, and quality.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, government bodies, subcontractors, and vendors for seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and monitor detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Review project designs, technical specifications, and drawings to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Lead project reviews, progress meetings, and prepare project reports for stakeholders.
  • Manage contracts, resolve disputes, and ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement and implementation of best practices in project management.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum of 12 years experience in managing large-scale solar EPC or renewable energy projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering multi-megawatt solar projects from concept to commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • PMP certification is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Proficient in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with national and international codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, IS, NEC).
  • Strong commercial and contractual acumen.
  • Knowledge of grid interconnection and power evacuation systems.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
