As a Piping Engineer in our team, you will collaborate with a highly skilled group of professionals to execute engineering, coordination, and project support tasks across international water treatment projects. From tendering to project startup and operation, you will lead team members effectively, ensuring accuracy and confidence in our deliverables.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the timely availability of drawings and essential project information.
  • Coordinate closely to secure necessary materials for project execution.
  • Review mechanical documents provided by third-party engineering subcontractors and vendors, identifying and resolving any design issues.
  • Actively participate in meetings with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to address mechanical discipline-related issues.
  • Prepare critical project documents, including specifications, mechanical data sheets, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and mechanical studies.
  • Provide valuable input and collaborate with other disciplines to support the development of their deliverables, such as piping drawings and plot plans/layouts.
  • Conduct technical bid evaluations for vendor proposals and perform thorough reviews of vendor drawings and documents.
  • Adhere strictly to the company's Integrated Management System (IMS) procedures to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in water treatment, industrial projects, or related fields, with detailed engineering expertise in mechanical/piping engineering.
  • Strong technical proficiency in mechanical engineering, with expertise in static and rotating equipment, mechanical packages, pipe stress analysis, and HVAC installations.
  • Advanced analytical skills in basic and detailed engineering design, from project feasibility through commissioning and startup, are highly valued.
  • Previous exposure to an international environment is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in relevant CAD and mechanical software applicable to water treatment projects, such as AutoCAD, CAESAR II, PV Elite, and HAP.
  • In-depth knowledge of international codes and standards, design guidelines, and recommendations, including ASME, API, NFPA, and ASHRAE.
  • Familiarity with Machinery Safety Regulations, both local and international.
  • Mobility is desirable to engage in project home offices across countries where our EPC projects are executed.
