FINISHING SUPERVISOR

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

As a Finishing Supervisor, you will be to Overseeing finishing works on construction projects to ensure quality, timeliness, and adherence to specifications. Coordinate with various teams and subcontractors to achieve project goals and Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout the finishing stages.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and coordinate all finishing activities on-site, including quality control and workmanship standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to plan and execute finishing tasks.
• Monitor project progress and report on timelines, challenges, and solutions.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage material procurement and inventory related to finishing works.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on finishing techniques and safety protocols.
• Address and resolve on-site issues and conflicts in a timely manner.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to finishing works for project management and stakeholders.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

•  Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
•  Proven experience in utility and road works supervision, with a focus on finishing processes.
•  Strong understanding of construction materials, techniques, and finishing processes.
•  Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
•  Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, PMP) are a plus.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
