PURPOSE OF THE JOB:


The purpose of an HVAC Engineer in a contracting company is to manage the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems in construction projects, ensuring these systems meet client requirements, safety standards, and project timelines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, document, and resolve HVAC and Plumbing snags to ensure systems meet project specifications and client expectations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests of HVAC and Plumbing systems, identifying defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement solutions for system optimization, including design corrections, installation adjustments, and performance improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with the project and site teams, contractors, and other engineers to ensure efficient snag rectification and project handover.
  • Ensure all snag works meet local and international quality standards and safety regulations, with a particular focus on GCC and UAE standards.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of snag works, including reports, test results, and recommendations for final project handover.
  • Communicate with clients regarding snag issues, solutions, and project progress as required.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in HVAC engineering, with specific experience in snag works for HVAC and Plumbing systems.
  • Prior experience in GCC countries, preferably with significant exposure to UAE projects.
  • Proficient in HVAC system design, installation, and troubleshooting, with hands-on knowledge of Plumbing snag management.
  • Locally available in the UAE and ready to join immediately upon selection.
  • Communicate with clients regarding snag issues, solutions, and project progress as required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and project teams.
