Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage architectural projects from conceptual design through to completion, ensuring that projects meet client expectations, budget constraints, and deadlines.
  • Oversee all aspects of project execution, including design, construction, resource allocation, and site supervision.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, track progress, and adjust timelines as necessary to address potential delays or issues.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with contractors, consultants, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within the allocated financial resources, and report on financial forecasts and cost control.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, specifications, progress reports, and quality assurance plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards, specifically those relevant to the Qatar construction environment.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality of work, and adherence to design specifications.
  • Resolve any project-related issues or conflicts that may arise during design or construction phases.
  • Review and approve architectural design deliverables, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project scope.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all parties involved in the project.
  • Manage and mentor junior project managers, architects, and other team members to foster professional development and achieve project goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural project management, supervision, and consultancy, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.:
  • MMUP (Municipal Planning and Urban Development Authority) and UPDA Grade A certification is required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Expertise in managing large-scale architectural projects from design through to completion, including all phases of project management (planning, design, construction, and delivery).
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, project timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to manage project budgets, conduct financial forecasting, and implement cost control strategies.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of architectural design principles, construction techniques, and building codes specific to Qatar.
