We are looking for an experienced Offshore QC Manager to oversee the quality control of offshore projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have extensive offshore experience and a solid understanding of QC processes for construction, installation, and commissioning activities in the oil & gas or energy sectors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and implement the Quality Control (QC) program for offshore projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Oversee the inspection and testing of offshore installations, equipment, and materials to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with offshore construction and installation teams to ensure QC protocols are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct audits and inspections of offshore facilities and contractor operations to identify and resolve non-conformities.
  • Develop and maintain QC documentation, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), QC reports, and certificates of compliance.
  • Review and approve vendor and contractor quality documents, including material certificates and inspection reports.
  • Interface with clients and regulatory bodies to ensure transparency and compliance with QC requirements.
  • Lead and participate in Quality Audits, ensuring corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Supervise a team of QC inspectors and ensure proper training and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Report quality performance metrics to senior management and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that project quality records and certifications are accurately maintained and archived.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience in Quality Control, with a focus on offshore projects in the oil & gas or energy sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore construction and installation processes, including welding, coating, and NDT methods.
  • Familiarity with international standards such as ISO 9001, API, ASME, and DNV standards.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing QC programs for large-scale offshore projects.
  • Ability to conduct detailed audits, inspections, and root cause analysis for non-conformities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising QC inspectors.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in offshore environments and travel to remote project sites as needed.
