PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The purpose of the job of a Junior HSE Officer is to ensure that health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld within an organization. Junior HSE Officer plays a vital role in safeguarding the well-being of employees, protecting the environment, and ensuring smooth, compliant operations within the organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in implementing and monitoring the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits within mechanical and fabrication workshop areas to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
  • Identify and report potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and practices to the HSE Manager.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff and workers on HSE matters, promoting a safety-first culture.
  • Participate in risk assessments, accident investigations, and root cause analyses.
  • Ensure that all employees and contractors adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Maintain HSE documentation, including incident reports, training records, and inspection checklists.
  • Conduct safety induction and training sessions for new employees and contractors.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response planning activities.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as an HSE Officer, preferably in a mechanical or fabrication workshop setting.
  • Possession of a valid NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC).
  • Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards.
  • Ability to identify risks and implement corrective measures effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Candidates currently residing in the UAE will only be considered.
  • Must be available for immediate joining.
