PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The purpose of the job of a Mechanical Revit Modeler specializing in pumping stations and piping is to create and manage detailed 3D models of mechanical systems, specifically focused on pumping stations and associated piping networks, using Revit software. The role involves translating engineering designs into accurate and constructible models, ensuring that these systems are efficiently designed, coordinated with other disciplines, and compliant with project requirements and industry standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers and other team members to develop detailed design plans for MEP systems using Autodesk Revit 2020 or latest version.
  • Develop detailed 3D models of mechanical systems focused on pumping stations and piping networks using Revit software.
  • Create accurate and constructible models that include piping layouts, equipment placements, valve locations, and mechanical components.
  • Create accurate and comprehensive 3D models of following Mechanical systems:
  • Potable Water Pumping Station and network.
  • Firefighting Pumping Station and network.
  • TSE Pumping Station and network.
  • Storm Water Pumping Station and network.
  • Foul Sewage Pumping Station and network.
  • Chilled Water Network
  • Generate comprehensive technical drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and isometric views derived from the Revit models.
  • Prepare detailed construction documentation and installation guides for use by on-site teams and contractors.
  • Engage in the Building Information Modeling (BIM) process, ensuring that mechanical models are accurately incorporated into the overall BIM environment.
  • Conduct clash detection using BIM tools to identify and resolve any design conflicts or interferences between mechanical systems and other disciplines.
  • Manage and update Revit models throughout the design and construction phases, incorporating revisions and changes as required.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Previous experience as Mechanical Revit Modeler or similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software with a focus on Mechanical systems.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Familiarity with BIM processes and collaboration tools.
