REINFORCEMENT DRAFTSMAN

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare reinforcement shop drawings, details, and bar bending schedules (BBS) for structural elements such as slabs, beams, columns, cores, and foundations.

• Interpret structural and architectural drawings to generate accurate rebar detailing.

• Ensure drawings are compliant with local codes, project specifications, and structural design intent.

• Coordinate with structural engineers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve drawing-related issues.

• Revise and update drawings as per site conditions and consultant/client comments.

• Maintain organized documentation and filing of all reinforcement drawings and revisions.

• Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation related to reinforcement.

• Work closely with the construction team to provide technical support during execution.

• Participate in internal and external meetings to discuss technical drawing aspects

Key Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Drafting Technology.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant drafting experience in the GCC, specifically in high-rise buildings.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CADS RC, or similar reinforcement detailing software.

• Strong knowledge of reinforcement detailing practices, standards, and codes (BS, ACI, etc.).

• Familiar with structural systems and construction methodologies for high-rise structures.

• Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

• Good communication and coordination skills.
