SAP PROJECT MANAGER - EAM, HSE IMPLEMENTATION

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned SAP Project Manager with extensive experience in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) modules to serve as a key member of Systems Integrator (SI) project committee. In this role, you will represent the organization's interests by overseeing and guiding the implementation of SAP EAM and HSE modules by an external vendor. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills to ensure the successful delivery of SAP solutions that align with business objectives and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in project committee meetings to review project status, deliverables, and risks.
• Evaluate the external vendors implementation plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and SAP best practices.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Act as the organizations point of contact for the external vendor implementing SAP EAM and HSE modules.
• Monitor the vendors performance against agreed-upon KPIs, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
• Facilitate collaboration between the vendor and internal stakeholders to address project dependencies and priorities.
• Review and validate functional and technical designs prepared by the vendor, ensuring they meet business requirements.
• Assess system configurations, integrations, and customizations proposed by the vendor for feasibility and effectiveness.
• Provide expert advice on potential risks, challenges, and solutions related to SAP EAM and HSE implementation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather business requirements and ensure they are reflected in the implementation.
• Monitor and validate vendor-led testing activities, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Required Qualifications:

• Proven expertise of at least 1 EAM or HSE Implementation as a Lead Project Manager
• PMP Certification 
• 10+ Years of expertise within the SAP Domain
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic (Desirable) and English (Essential)
• Experience of working within a management consultancy environment
• Ability to work to hard and fast targets and meet strict deadlines.
• Experience of working within the GCC is highly desirable
