STRUCTURAL DESIGNER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare structural designs, 3D models, and detailed drawings for the Engineering phase of oil and gas projects, including FEED and Detailed Engineering.
• Develop structural layouts, general arrangements, and detailed connection designs in compliance with project specifications and ADNOC standards.
• Perform material take-offs and prepare fabrication and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and other disciplines to ensure integration and alignment of design deliverables.
• Review and verify designs to ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and ADNOC guidelines.
• Generate and manage design outputs, including isometric drawings, plans, elevations, and detailed sections.
• Utilize design software such as PDMS, SP3D, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools to produce high-quality deliverables.
• Ensure design deliverables adhere to project schedules and budgets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Support technical reviews, design audits, and interdisciplinary checks as required.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience as a Structural Designer in the oil and gas industry.
• Proven experience in the Engineering phase (FEED and Detailed Engineering) of large-scale oil and gas projects.
• Previous work experience on ADNOC projects is mandatory.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as PDMS, SP3D, STAAD.Pro, and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards, regulations, and approval processes.
• Familiarity with international structural codes and standards (e.g., AISC, API, BS, Eurocodes).
• Immediate availability for joining in Abu Dhabi.
