Sr. BIM Engineer - Roads (Civil 3D)

We are seeking an experienced Road BIM Engineer to lead our team of engineers and BIM modelers in the design, modelling, and coordination of road infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Roads Engineering, Design Drawings, Shop drawings, BIM modelling using Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Aconex, and be familiar with road engineering processes, standards, and best practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage the road infrastructure projects using BIM processes, standards, and project information delivery cycle.
• Develop and maintain project BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and BIM Model Development Plans (MDP) to ensure all project stakeholders are aligned with BIM processes and standards.
• Generate 3D models of road infrastructure projects using Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, and Autocad.
• Generate design drawings and shop drawings for road infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards and project requirements and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure BIM models are coordinated and clash-free.
• Collaborate with the design team and other stakeholders to optimize design and construction processes using BIM.
• Provide guidance and support to the project team on BIM processes, standards, and technologies.
• Review and validate project deliverables to ensure they meet project requirements.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of BIM models and project deliverables.
• Work collaboratively with the project team to identify and resolve technical issues.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• Strong knowledge of road engineering processes, standards, and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of BIM processes, standards, and technologies.
• Experience in leading and managing teams of engineers and BIM modelers.
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate with different stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong coordination skills and ability to work collaboratively with the project team.
• Strong team-work skills and ability to lead and manage a team of engineers and BIM modelers.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

EDUCATION & TRAINING:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in Roads Engineering, Design Drawings, Shop drawings, BIM modelling using Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Aconex.
