We are seeking a highly skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing IAM solutions to ensure secure and efficient access to organizational resources. This role involves working closely with various departments to develop IAM policies and practices that align with business goals and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IAM Strategy and Design: Develop and implement IAM strategies, architectures, and roadmaps.
  • User Access Management: Manage user access and permissions to ensure appropriate levels of access across systems.
  • Authentication and Authorization: Implement and manage authentication methods, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), and define authorization policies.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO): Design and implement SSO solutions to streamline user access.
  • Federated Identity Management: Establish and manage federated identity systems for seamless access across organizational boundaries.
  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Develop and enforce RBAC policies to ensure access is granted based on job roles.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Ensure IAM processes comply with regulatory requirements and conduct regular access audits.
  • Incident Response: Respond to and mitigate IAM-related security incidents and breaches.
  • Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions to educate employees about IAM policies and best practices.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend IAM technologies and solutions.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on IAM status, incidents, and metrics, and maintain detailed documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM, information security, or a related field.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of IAM principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in IAM technologies (e.g., Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, Ping Identity), familiarity with security protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect), and experience with identity governance tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: Experience in consulting or advisory roles in IAM.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with IAM tools and technologies, and experience with cloud IAM solutions.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of industry-specific IAM requirements (e.g., healthcare, finance).
