JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop 3D BIM models using industry-leading software, such as Revit, based on project requirements.
- Create and manage BIM families, components, and templates.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and coordination of BIM models across all disciplines.
- Incorporate design changes and updates into the BIM models as directed by project teams.
- Assist in resolving clashes by coordinating with other disciplines and making necessary adjustments to the BIM models.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve clashes and coordinate design elements.
- Participate in regular coordination meetings and interdisciplinary workshops to address clashes and conflicts.
- Generate accurate and high-quality 2D drawings and documentation from the BIM models.
- Ensure consistency and adherence to project standards in the extracted drawings.
- Review and verify the accuracy of extracted drawings before submission.
- Adhere to established BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and guidelines for BIM modeling and coordination.
- Collaborate with the BIM team to develop and enhance BIM workflows and processes.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Communicate BIM-related information and updates to project stakeholders.
- Participate in coordination meetings and provide BIM-related input and expertise.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in BIM technology, software, and industry trends.
- Seek opportunities for professional development and attend relevant training programs.
- Share knowledge and best practices with team members to enhance collective expertise.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering/Architecture
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Developing complex Building Information Models (BIM) for large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, or ArchiCAD.
- Solid understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) principles and processes.
- Ability to create and modify 3D models based on design documents and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of BIM standards and willingness to adapt to new software and technologies.
