FIELD CIVIL ENGINEER

We are seeking a highly skilled and immediately available Field Civil Engineer to join our team on an onshore oil and gas project based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have direct experience working on ADNOC projects and a strong background in civil works execution at the field level, including earthworks, foundations, structural concrete, and related infrastructure.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day site civil construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and ADNOC standards.
• Coordinate with construction contractors, consultants, and project management teams for timely execution of civil works.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks for ongoing works, ensuring adherence to QA/QC procedures and HSE guidelines.
• Interpret and review civil design drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure constructability and resolve site issues.
• Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and resources as per project schedules.
• Maintain accurate site records including progress reports, work permits, inspection requests, and as-built documentation.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for civil works during all phases of construction.
• Participate in progress and coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
• Liaise with ADNOC representatives, ensuring all site activities comply with ADNOC procedures and regulatory requirements.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 6-10 years of civil engineering experience in the oil and gas sector, with recent ADNOC onshore project experience.
• Strong understanding of ADNOC specifications, HSE practices, and quality standards.
• Experience in site execution, inspection, and coordination of civil and infrastructure works.
• Familiarity with permit-to-work systems, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Must be currently in the UAE and available to join immediately.
