TESTING & COMMISSIONING MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced Testing and Commissioning Manager to lead and oversee all commissioning activities for large-scale solar projects in Rabbigh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of dedicated experience in solar PV projects and a proven track record in managing testing and commissioning works from pre-commissioning to final handover.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the planning, execution, and management of testing and commissioning activities for utility-scale solar projects.
• Supervise pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of electrical systems including inverters, transformers, switchgear, SCADA, and protection systems.
• Review and approve method statements, testing procedures, and commissioning schedules.
• Coordinate with EPC teams, subcontractors, and OEMs to ensure all systems are commissioned according to specifications and standards.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance during commissioning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues arising during the commissioning process.
• Maintain and manage documentation, including test reports, punch lists, and handover documents.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to site teams and ensure timely project delivery.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10 to 15 years of total experience, with a minimum of 10 years in solar power projects.
• Proven experience in testing and commissioning of utility-scale solar PV systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, grid compliance, protection systems, and SCADA integration.
• Familiarity with international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NFPA).
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate and work full-time in Rabbigh, Saudi Arabia.
