CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

We are seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer with relevant experience in Onshore Oil & Gas / EPC projects to support a site-based Construction and Commissioning project in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for supporting civil engineering activities during construction and commissioning phases. The ideal candidate must have strong onshore project experience and proven hands-on site exposure.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support civil engineering activities during construction and commissioning phases.
• Coordinate day-to-day civil activities with construction and commissioning teams.
• Review civil drawings, specifications and project documentation to support site execution.
• Assist in resolving civil-related technical and construction issues at site.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of assigned works.
• Participate in site inspections, walkdowns and verification of completed civil works.
• Support QA/QC activities and ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved project requirements.
• Assist with construction progress monitoring and reporting.
• Support punch-list activities, close-out and project handover requirements.
• Coordinate with relevant disciplines to address site interfaces and execution requirements.
• Provide technical assistance during construction and commissioning activities.
• Ensure civil activities are carried out in accordance with applicable HSE and project procedures.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Up to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Previous experience in Onshore Oil & Gas projects is required.
• Site-based experience in construction and/or commissioning environments.
• Experience working within EPC or industrial project environments is preferred.
• Good understanding of civil engineering practices and site execution requirements.
• Ability to review and understand engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience coordinating with contractors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Good communication and technical coordination skills.
• Candidates must be willing to work on site in the UAE.
