ELECTRICAL DESIGNER

We are seeking experienced Senior Electrical Designers to support a time-sensitive oil & gas project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on design experience and strong proficiency in SP3D / E3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation. Ability to independently deliver detailed electrical design outputs for large-scale oil & gas projects across FEED, detailed engineering, and EPC phases.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and deliver electrical design and drafting for oil & gas facilities, including, lighting layouts, power distribution systems, cable routing and tray layouts, earthing and grounding systems, electrical equipment layouts
• Prepare and update electrical drawings and 3D models using SP3D / E3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation
• Produce detailed engineering deliverables such as single line diagrams (SLD), wiring and termination drawings, cable schedules and routing layouts and equipment location drawings
• Coordinate with electrical engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards
• Review and incorporate comments from clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Support design activities across FEED, detailed engineering, and EPC project phases
• Deliver high-quality outputs within strict project timelines and deadlines

KEY QUALLIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 15+ years of experience as an Electrical Designer
• Mandatory experience in oil & gas industry, preferably on large EPC projects
• Strong hands-on expertise in SP3D / E3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation
• Proven experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects
• Strong understanding of international electrical design standards and practices
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Preferred middle east oil & gas project experience, familiarity with client engineering standards and ability to work in fast-track, time-critical project environments
