Mechanical BIM Modeler

Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models for mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and pumping systems.
Coordinate mechanical models with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines to ensure clash-free designs.
Prepare and maintain drawings, schematics, and schedules from BIM models for construction and fabrication purposes.
Conduct clash detection, resolve design conflicts, and update models accordingly.
Support coordination workshops and interface meetings with engineering, construction, and client teams.
Ensure compliance with project standards, LOD requirements, and the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
Assist in constructability reviews and provide technical input during design and pre-construction phases.
Maintain accurate version control and documentation of models and associated deliverables.

Key Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3–6 years of experience in mechanical BIM modelling.
Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, fire protection systems, plumbing, and pumping systems.
Experience in multi-discipline coordination within infrastructure or large-scale building projects.
Familiarity with ISO 19650, BEP, and BIM standards for design and construction.
Ability to work independently and in multi-disciplinary teams under project deadlines.
GCC project experience is preferred.
