We are seeking an experienced Lead Procurement Engineer to manage procurement activities for an ADNOC Offshore project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and procurement execution within offshore oil & gas projects, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services in compliance with ADNOC standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage all procurement activities, including sourcing, tendering, evaluation, and awarding contracts.
  • Develop procurement strategies aligned with project requirements, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage vendor prequalification, selection, and performance monitoring.
  • Coordinate with engineering, project management, and quality teams to ensure procurement of compliant materials and services.
  • Prepare and review purchase requisitions, RFQs, and commercial proposals.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Monitor procurement progress and ensure timely delivery to meet project milestones.
  • Manage purchase order administration, contract documentation, and procurement reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC Offshore procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Support risk management by identifying and mitigating procurement-related risks.
  • Lead procurement meetings and coordinate with stakeholders for alignment and issue resolution.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience in procurement within the oil & gas sector, preferably offshore projects.
  • Proven experience in managing procurement for ADNOC Offshore or similar operators.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor relations.
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and complex procurement scopes.
  • Professional certifications (CIPS, PMP) are an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ADNOC procurement standards and local content requirements is a plus
