STRUCTURAL DRAFTSMAN

We are seeking a skilled Structural Draftsman to prepare detailed structural drawings for steel, concrete, and composite structures based on engineering designs and calculations. The role involves translating structural engineers' concepts into clear, accurate, and construction-ready drawings using CAD/BIM software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate structural shop drawings for reinforced concrete building projects based on design and construction requirements.
• Develop detailed reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS) in accordance with project specifications.
• Interpret structural design drawings and ensure drafting accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and other disciplines to resolve drawing-related issues.
• Revise and update drawings based on design changes, site comments, and consultant feedback.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, applicable codes, and quality requirements.
• Prepare construction details, sections, elevations, and structural layouts as required.
• Support project teams by providing timely and accurate drafting deliverables.
• Maintain organized drawing records and document control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with site and engineering teams to address technical queries related to structural drawings.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma/ITI in Civil/Structural Drafting or related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Structural Draftsman
• Proven experience working on Middle East/GCC building projects
• Strong experience in reinforced concrete structures, structural shop drawings, and bar bending schedules (BBS).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of structural engineering drawings, construction practices, and drafting standards.
• Ability to interpret structural design documents and produce accurate construction drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within project deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
