PROJECT MANAGER - BANKING - DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION, DIGITAL, DATA, AI DELIVERY

POSITION SUMMARY

Lead high-impact projects in data modernization, digital banking platforms, digital channels (mobile, web, API), and AI delivery. Manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams in a regulated banking environment.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for data, digital transformation, and AI initiatives
• Manage project scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation
• Apply Agile and traditional project management methodologies
• Conduct stakeholder updates and steering committee reporting
• Ensure regulatory compliance and banking standards alignment
• Build and mentor project teams across matrix organization
• Optimize resource allocation and manage financial performance

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

• 8–12 years project management in technology/IT
• 5–7 years in banking or regulated financial services
• Track record managing complex, multi-team projects with substantial budgets
• Digital transformation or data platform project experience

Certifications (Required)

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2
• Agile Certification (CSM, CSPO, SAFe, or equivalent)

Skills

• Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint (advanced proficiency)
• Project management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar)
• Banking systems and architecture understanding
• Basic cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure)
• Data architecture and API knowledge
• Budget management and financial analysis

Knowledge

• PMBOK or Agile project management frameworks
• Banking regulatory compliance requirements
• IT governance and change management
• Vendor management and RFP processes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Saudi Arabia or GCC banking experience
• Data modernization or AI/ML project delivery
• Digital banking platforms implementation
• Cloud migration or infrastructure projects
• Agile at Scale (SAFe, LeSS)
