About the job ELECTRICAL BIM ENGINEER

We are looking for an experienced Electrical BIM Engineer to develop, coordinate, and manage BIM models for electrical systems in compliance with project specifications and BIM standards. The role involves close coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate, clash-free, and construction-ready BIM deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Electrical BIM models using Revit MEP for:

    • Power & Lighting systems

    • Low Current Systems (ELV, ICT, BMS, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control)

  • Prepare and manage BIM models in accordance with LOD 300–500 requirements.

  • Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks and resolve conflicts with other disciplines.
  • Produce shop drawings, coordination drawings, as-built drawings, and schedules from BIM models.
  • Ensure compliance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), project standards, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, architectural, structural, and site teams to ensure constructability.
  • Support site activities by providing BIM-based solutions and responding to RFIs.
  • Participate in BIM coordination meetings and technical workshops.
  • Maintain model updates throughout design development and construction stages.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.

  • 5–10 years of experience as an Electrical BIM Engineer on large-scale projects.

  • Demonstrated experience in as-built submissions to clients

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and Navisworks.

  • Strong knowledge of power, lighting, ELV, and fire alarm systems.

  • Familiarity with international codes and standards such as IEC, NEC, NFPA, and local authority requirements.

  • Experience on stadium, infrastructure, high-rise, or mega projects is preferred.

  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced project environment.
