Job Summary

Dower Personnel Services is seeking experienced and compassionate in-home caregivers to support a new home care initiative focused on providing exceptional care to seniors in their homes. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team as we prepare to launch this impactful project. If you have at least 2 years of caregiving experience, a heart for serving others, and the dedication to improve lives, we want to hear from you!

Qualifications

  1. Must be CNA/GNA Certified in the State of Maryland
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in caregiving, preferably with seniors or individuals with disabilities. 
  3. A compassionate attitude toward caring for the elderly and those with disabilities.
  4. Ability to follow instructions, read, write, and communicate effectively.
  5. Maturity and reliability to handle the responsibilities of caregiving.
  6. High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Responsibilities

  1. Assist clients with personal hygiene (bathing, oral care, grooming, etc.).
  2. Help clients with mobility, including walking or using wheelchairs and walkers.
  3. Support clients with toileting and incontinence care.
  4. Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
  5. Assist with self-administration of medication as directed.
  6. Provide companionship and emotional support.
  7. Report changes in the client's condition or behavior to the supervisor.
  8. Perform light housekeeping, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
  9. Document services provided in compliance with company policies.

Schedule

  • Flexible shifts available (full-time or part time).
  • Weekend availability required.
