Network Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability across all systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, monitor, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other networking systems

• Troubleshoot network issues and outages and provide timely solutions

• Ensure network security and connectivity

• Manage firewalls, VPNs, switches, and routers

• Perform network upgrades and system updates

• Implement and enforce network policies and procedures

• Maintain documentation of network configuration and systems

• Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to support business objectives

Requirements:

• Must be based in the USA

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role

• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)

• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and routing/switching

• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux server environments

• Network certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
