Position /Title: Marketing Manager

Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Note: This role is open to Saudi nationals only.

Responsibilities

  • Aptly portray The Arena, in line with the brand vision, mission and values and objectives
  • Gain general understanding of the venue, its facilities & services, and destination partners.
  • Highly responsive to general feedback and/or necessary alterations and work demand
  • Develop comprehensive Marketing, Communications and CRM oriented strategies while reflecting and fully instilling brand, identity, corporate presence and impactful reputation building.
  • Negotiate compelling CRM approaches with relevant stakeholders.
  • Report departmental performance to the General Manager
  • Develop and implement a strategy to grow reputation and ROI while working to positively impact client satisfaction, build relationships, and deliver campaigns that meet and exceed goals.
  • Lead the CRM initiatives and initiate programs to engage and improve customer understanding and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement campaigns that are consistent with the company's objectives and goals.
  • Lead all marketing/sales marketing (I.e., website, ticketing platform, etc.) related technologies and their appropriate integration.
  • procedures, while ensuring all The Arena social media platforms are managed in a streamlined manner
  • Assist in maintaining a differentiated digital media presence with informative yet engaging content bilingual (English & Arabic) captioning required
  • To support and manage the execution of the set social media strategy through high standard content development and constant enhancement of The Arena social media platforms chain
  • Deliver a high-scale dynamic presence through the development of engaging and lively content all year round
  • Always liaise with the General Manager to receive guidance and direction on all content production
  • Monitor digital media platforms performance, while being highly responsive to general nonstrategic queries, comments and suggestions
  • Maintain a secure database of all login credentials
  • Handle the social media content calendar and posting schedule
  • Use The Arena Hashtag list while posting on social media platforms as conveyed by the general manager
  • Assist in preparing e-communications, such as newsletters, multipurpose branded e-templates while handling distribution lists through the identified channels
  • Handle social media sponsored/paid ads activation process and monitor/report campaigns performance.

Position Skills and Requirements

  • A passion for the events industry.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise within defined timeframes.
  • A proven and dynamic leader with a minimum 5 years experience within marketing, marketing sales and communications environment.
  • Proven ability to acquire/manage local and external suppliers and agencies.
  • Experience of introducing innovative and transformational sales and marketing and communications programs.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, together with excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • A natural collaborator with entrepreneurial drive and a strong appreciation of business development, as well as a proven ability to advance relationships that deliver business growth.
  • Excellent people and influencing skills.
  • Experience of working in an emerging market, ideally the Middle East.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with collection, review, analysis and activation of data.
  • Excellent understanding of communications strategy and best practices (internal & external) including digital, web, social, e-comms and CRM.
  • High level knowledge of appropriate business approach, culture, practice's and procedures for the region.
  • Proven high value budget management experience.
