Position: Cardiothoracic Surgery Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Specialist to join our client's hospital in Libya. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and possess the necessary expertise to perform complex cardiac and thoracic surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform a wide range of cardiac and thoracic surgeries, including open-heart surgeries, valve repair/replacement, coronary artery bypass grafting, and lung surgeries.

- Conduct pre-operative consultations and evaluations to determine the best course of treatment for each patient.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.

- Monitor and manage patients' post-operative care, including prescribing medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing follow-up care.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques in cardiac and thoracic surgery and implement them in practice.

- Participate in conferences, seminars, and other educational opportunities to continuously enhance knowledge and skills.

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and communicate effectively with patients and their families.

Qualifications:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution.

- Completion of a residency program in cardiothoracic surgery.

- Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery.

- Valid license to practice medicine.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cardiac and thoracic surgery.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
