About the job OPD Registered Nurse
A Hospital in Libya is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate OPD Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. As an OPD Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing quality healthcare services to our patients. This is a full-time position, with a 48-hour work week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial patient assessments and gather relevant medical history
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient's condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Educate patients on their medical conditions and provide them with necessary information for self-care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in nursing or equivalent
- Valid nursing license (from Home country)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an OPD setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Compassionate and empathetic towards patients
- Ability to handle stressful situations with ease
- Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical records
