Garage & workshop department. Work involves the application of professional knowledge and personal.
judgment to a variety of technical personnel and managerial problems and issues.

Qualification:

- Experience working as a garage manager, workshop controller, or similar position.

- Experienced technician.

Job Summary: Lead the Garage & Workshop department by managing, planning, and coordinating activities and staff. Apply professional knowledge to address technical and managerial challenges.

Job roles and responsibilities:

1. Head the Garage & Workshop department, overseeing budgeting, cost control, training, and effective communication.

2. Develop, plan, and manage administrative and operational functions, focusing on performance reporting and process streamlining.

3. Control departmental expenditure within established budgets.

4. Drive quality production by developing and motivating the team, ensuring skills and process knowledge development.

5. Supervise Mechanical maintenance, Sanding, Blasting, and Spray Painting.

6. Provide leadership for reporting staff to meet company goals.

7. Ensure safe and efficient design, build, servicing, and maintenance of equipment and assets.

8. Maintain accurate maintenance and service records, submitting to management as required.

9. Manage maintenance and repair of company plant, machinery, and site equipment.

10. Utilize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) for continuous improvement.

11. Supervise completion of documentation, including ESHMS documentation and Quarterly Workplace Inspections.

12. Set KPIs for department employees, conduct assessments, and analyze areas for improvement.

13. Develop action plans in case of production delays, on-time delivery issues, and product deviations, reporting to top management.

14. Liaise with IT Department for owned Apps.

15. Ensure compliance with internal policies, code of conduct, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

16. Proper usage of PPE within specified timeframes.

17. Support 5S standards by maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
