Job Overview:

The Project Operations Manager is a strategic leader who plays a pivotal role in driving the operational success of multiple projects within the organization. This critical position demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in project management and a deep understanding of the financial services landscape. You will leverage your expertise to spearhead project execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities (Prioritized):

  1. Provide visionary leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution and closure. Ensure adherence to project plans, manage cross-functional teams effectively, and cultivate a collaborative environment that fosters high performance.
  2. Develop comprehensive project plans that clearly define scope, objectives, deliverables, resource allocation, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Implement and maintain best practices and methodologies to optimize project delivery efficiency.
  3. Foster strong relationships with project stakeholders at all levels. Collaborate effectively to define requirements, goals, and deliverables. Provide clear, concise, and regular project updates, including status reports, milestone achievements, and potential risks.
  4. Proactively identify and assess potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution. Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and maintain project momentum.
  5. Ensure project execution aligns with established financial sector regulations and operational procedures. Streamline processes to optimize efficiency and drive continuous improvement.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, Finance, or a related field; PMP certification is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of demonstrably successful experience managing complex projects within the financial services industry.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with a talent for motivating, inspiring, and guiding cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders, negotiate effectively, and deliver clear and compelling presentations.
  • Proficiency in leading project management tools and software.
