Job Description: We are seeking a proactive "BID Manager" to join our dynamic team. As Bid managers you will be responsible for the proposal of bids to existing or prospective clients for projects. A bid manager will ensure the smooth running of the bid for a project within the correct time and financial parameters and manage the relationship with the client.
Responsibilities:
Reports to Chief Development Officer
1.1 Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer defined timeframes.
1.2 Developing and executing Proposal Plans.
1.3 Organizing and holding bid kick-off meetings.
1.4 Approving each party's scope of work involved in the bid.
1.5 Analyzing contract requirements and conditions to present to Management.
1.6 Managing interfaces with partners and Client.
1.7 Identifying pre-bid agreements to be completed.
1.8 Integrating proposal packages prepared by individual operating companies and proposal partners and reconciling possible discrepancies.
1.9 Coordinating and reviewing/editing proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from Lending and Owner legal advisors, financial advisors, lenders, commercial, legal and delivery.
1.10 Communicating and influencing at a senior level.
1.11 Document template management in line with Company branding.
Skills Required
1.1 Good knowledge in civil/structural engineering from detail engineering, sponsor engineering and consulting/advising.
1.2 Ability to overlook teams in persuasive writing and proposal best practice.
1.3 Document template management in line with Company branding.
1.4 Proven ability in planning, producing, and delivering compliant proposals within a complex business environment.
1.5 Strong written and verbal English Language skills.
1.6 Strong management/prioritization skills.
1.7 Experience in designing, managing and updating a Content Library or Proposal Automation Solution for BOOT/PPP Projects.
1.8 Experience in scheduling and running proposal kick-off meetings, leading storyboarding sessions, facilitating key review meetings, final document review, coordinating proposal governance, sign-off, document production and delivery of the completed proposal.
1.9 Well placed to read, assess and deliver in cross discipline engineering works.
Required
Qualifications
1.1 5+ years of project proposal experience.
1.2 Bachelors Degree in Engineering is preferred.
