Job Title : Offset Program Consultant

Location: Bahrain

Ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and manage offset programs for global clients. 

Ideal Candidate will also work on identifying, assessing, and managing risks and opportunities.

The consultant will report to the Project Manager and liaise with the clients to optimize the program outcomes.

Experience:

  • Proven experience and demonstrated knowledge of offset regulations, compliance, and reporting.
  • Experience with offset programs in the GCC region is a plus.
  • Experience with risk management with Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage a high-volume of tasks.
  • Experience in strategic planning, project management and financial strategy.
  • Proven track record of delivering results and client satisfaction.
  • Understanding of international business and trade regulations is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, prioritize competing tasks.
  • Experience in project management, stakeholders management, and supplier management.
  • Professional certification such as CSCP, PMP, or CIPS is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Assist in legal guidance related to agreements / MOU / Offset partnerships agreements / and other legal consideration specific to the business or projects and fulfilling the projects requirements and obligation.
  • Assist in market research and marketing strategy. identifying target markets in and out of Bahrain.
  • Provide industry and manufacturing guidance / assist in building a supply chain with suppliers abroad able to review and implement proposals from the obligors and able to advice in managing and follow up the project implementation process.
  • Advise on the viability, compatibility, and potential for integration of technological know-how transfer proposed by offset obligors.
  • Advise offset team involved in developing offset project lists that could be given to the obligors.
  • Provided advice and assistance in preparing documentations for presentations related to the lists of offset projects opportunities.
  • Able to provide training, workshops or lectures related to offset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration & finance . Engineering degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in defense industry and a minimum 3 years for offset programs.
