Position: Radiation Manager

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiation Manager for a reputed client in IRAQ, who is dedicated to providing high-quality medical services to the local community. The Manager Radiation will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our radiation services, including safety, training, and consulting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiation safety and management, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all radiation safety operations, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations and standards
  • Develop and implement radiation safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address any potential hazards or risks
  • Provide training and education to staff and clients on radiation safety protocols and procedures
  • Manage and maintain all radiation equipment and ensure proper calibration and maintenance
  • Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies, ensuring all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and maintained
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and their satisfaction is maintained
  • Monitor and analyze radiation data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Manage a team of radiation technicians and other staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations
  • Participate in business development activities and assist in the preparation of proposals and bids for new projects
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in radiation safety practices and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in radiation science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in radiation safety, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
  • Strong understanding of local and international radiation safety regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
  • Proficient in the use of radiation monitoring equipment and software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
