A prestigious client of Domo Ventures is looking for a Consultant or Specialist with a Pediatric license and Neonatology experience.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in medicine
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
- 3 to 7 years of internship and clinical residency training, specializing in Pediatrics.
- A medical degree in neonatology and the successful completion of a residency and fellowship.
- Fellowship in Neonatology or its equivalent such as Arab Board/Indian Board to practice as a Pediatric Neonatologist.
Experience:
- 5 to 10 years
License:
- Valid MoH License as a Consultant or Specialist Pediatric Neonatologist (for Candidates within Oman)
- For candidates applying outside of Oman should be eligible to have a medical license as per the Oman MoH category.
- Hold a valid medical license from your home country
Responsibilities
- Providing prenatal care for high-risk infants.
- Assisting in premature or problematic deliveries, and helping if complications arise or if medical attention is necessary immediately after birth.
- Caring for infants' nutrition to ensure optimal growth and development
- Assisting with medications and treating infants born with infections or who contract infections after birth.
- Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Collecting, recording, and maintaining patients' information and histories.
- Prescribing and administering treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care.
- Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients and family members.
- Monitoring patients' conditions and progress.
- Directing, coordinating, consulting with, and referring patients to nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
- Advising patients, parents, and guardians on diets, activities, hygiene, and disease prevention.
